Taiwan to reach consensus with US before issuing request for F-16s
Taiwan's Vice Defense Minister Chang Liang-jen told lawmakers that Taipei will try to reach a consensus with Washington before issuing a new request to buy 66 F-16C/D fighters.

Defense officials added that Taiwan may choose to upgrade its 150 F-16A/B fighters if the deal doesn't work out in the near future.
