Americans block sale of parts for Hsiung Feng IIE
The latest edition of Defense News said Washington is trying to block the sale of parts need to manufacture the Hsiung Feng IIE cruise missile to Taiwan.

The State Department is block the sale to Chungshan Institute of Science and Technology as it views the missile as an offensive weapon and is not covered under the Taiwan Relations Act.

However, after the report came out, China Times said Taiwan had sourced the parts from an unidentified European country and Israel. Thus the production of the missile could go ahead without delays.
