Top U.S. Officials Stalling Taiwan Arms Package
Washington Post cited unnamed sources saying Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and National Security Adviser Stephen Hadley have frozen a $11 billion arms deal for Taiwan.
The paper said Taiwan's government had privately urged Washington not to send any formal notification to Congress while it hold talks with China this week.
