Taiwan looks forward to buying fighters from U.S.
Taiwan's Deputy Defense Minister Ko Cheng-heng said the military are looking forward to purchasing 66 F-16 C/D fighters from the United States while Air Force Chief of Staff Major General Liu Chen-wu said the deal could be approved as early as June.

Liu was speaking to the legislature’s Diplomacy and National Defense Committee on Monday.
