Singapore air chief eyes new fighter contest
The Republic of Singapore Air Force will start shopping for a new fighter to replace its F-5E/F fighter fleet.
The choice is between a second batch of F-15SG or the F-35. The island nation will also shortlist two companies to supply advanced jet trainers. A decision on the trainer will be decided in 2009.
