MND denies United States may sell Tomahawks
The Hsiung Feng 2E has been much in the news recently, now Taiwan's Defense Minister Lee Tien-yu has denied a report by China Times that the United States may sell Tomahawk cruise missiles to Taiwan if the latter is capable of mass producing the Hsiung Feng 2E cruise missile.
A military source also told the China Times that Taiwan acquired the cutting-edge Hsiung Feng 2E technology through a European country during its development.
