Hsiung Feng II-E missiles have been deployed: sources
Taipei Times reported that Taiwan may have deployed a small number of Hsiung Feng 2E cruise missiles.
It added that up to 100 of the missiles will be manufactured within the next eight years.
Separately, Taiwan opposition lawmakers have voted to slash the budget to produce the missiles.
Lawmakers from the Nationalist Party feared approval of the missile's production budget would anger China.
