Davis was a 'top-shelf' pilot
A.J. Fratto, a U.S. Navy recruiter, spent a year and a half on the Blue Angels team with Lt. Cmdr. Kevin J. Davis. Fratto described him with two words: "top shelf."
"Kojak was the most tremendous pilot I ever met in my entire life," he said. "He was the most humble and respectable guy to ever don the blue suit."
