USAF orders 12 JASSM-ERs
The U.S. Air Force has awarded Lockheed Martin a $23 million contract for 12 extended-range Joint Air-to-Surface Standoff Missiles (JASSM-ERs).
Alan Jackson, director of both Joint Air-to-Surface Standoff Missile programs for Lockheed, said the missile is on its way to meet the U.S. Air Force's 90 percent reliability requirement and the order underscored the service's commitment to the development of the missile.
