Murtha open to spending more on F-22
U.S. Appropriations Defense subcommittee chairman, Rep. John Murtha, is considering boosting funds for the F-22.

Murtha told The Hill on Thursday that he is "leaning toward" funding for long lead items to build more F-22s beyond 2010.

Murtha added that he will be meeting Japanese government officials to gauge their nation’s interest in purchasing the plane.
