Video: Vietnamese ex-MiG-21 pilot reunites with pilot and F-4 jet that shot him down
Last year, we
reported that retired USAF Brig. Gen. Dan Cherry met in Hanoi the Vietnamese MiG-21 pilot he shot down during the war. Now the MiG pilot has traveled to the United States where he reunited with Cherry and the F-4 Phantom jet that shot him down.
On Thursday, Nguyen Hong My and Dan Cherry both attended a dedication ceremony for the Phantom jet at the Aviation Heritage Park in Tampa.
