Kitty Hawk to retire on Jan. 31 Jan. 31 will be a historic day for the U.S. Navy as it retires what could probably be its last conventional super aircraft carrier.

USS Kitty Hawk will be decommissioned at 10 a.m. in Bremerton, Washington.
