Turkey buys S-300 for testing
Turkey has secretly bought the S-300P (SA-10), S-300V (SA-12) and 9K331 Tor (SA-15) from Belarus and Ukraine to test them at the Konya training center.
Turkey intends to use the missiles to develop countermeasures. They will not be inventoried into Turkish service as the systems are mainly to be used for evaluation.
