Boeing's KC-X rival may offer new tanker as well
The Northrop Grumman/EADS team on the KC-X competition might want to switch from the Airbus A330 commercial airliner to the freighter version.
The aircraft arrived too late for the earlier competition but now the consortium is free to offer it to the U.S. Air Force as it is cheaper.
