Successful Sea-Based Missile Defense Intercept A spectacular video from the Missile Defense Agency showing the successful interception of a ballistic missile by SM-2 Blk IV interceptors fired from USS Lake Erie Thursday.



This is the second successful intercept of a terminal phase missile and the first this year.
