Faulty missile blown up at base A Norwegian SS-1 anti-ship missile failed to fire at Naval Base Ventura County Point Mugu on Friday and demolition experts had to destroy the missile on Saturday.

The missile was supposed to hit a barge floating 20 miles offshore.
