Aircraft carrier go-ahead near
British Prime Minister Gordon Brown indicated that his cabinet is close to giving the go-ahead to build new Royal Navy aircraft carriers.
Speaking in Parliament Wednesday, the Prime Minister said: "I hope we will be able to make an announcement soon on the aircraft carriers. Our commitment to future naval investment is very high."
