Watchdog calls for explanation on end to BAe inquiry
The anti-bribery committee of the Paris-based Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) has asked the British government to explain why it dropped the corruption inquiry on Saudi Arabia.

The committee pointed out under its 1997 convention, signed by Britain, criminal proceedings can only be halted on the grounds of lack of evidence.
