Carrier Reagan to deploy to Pacific
USS Ronald Reagan will deploy to the Western Pacific within weeks to serve as the U.S. carrier in the Pacific while the Japan-based USS Kitty Hawk undergoes maintenance.

The unscheduled deployment, which will be less than six months, could be due to USS John C. Stennis diversion to the Persian Gulf.
