Air force asks for early delivery of helicopters, planes
Canada has sent pilots to train on the C-17 as it is confident that the Pentagon will allow Boeing to deliver the aircraft that are meant for the U.S. military. A similar request for the CH-47 is still being negotiated.
Two pilots are currently training on the C-17 and is expected to be fully qualified by next month and two more Canadians will start training.
