Italy to sell Lebanon Aster 15 to stop Israel’s aerial incursions
DEBKAfile's Rome sources say Italian Prime Minister Romano Prodi has given the green light to arm Lebanon with an Aster 15 battery.
The sale is subjected to approval from French president Jacques Chirac as its a joint Franco-Italian product.
