Boeing Begins Flight Tests and Laser Firings for Laser Gunship Program
Boeing has begun flight testing for the Advanced Tactical Laser (ATL) Advanced Concept Technology Demonstration (ACTD) program using a C-130H from the U.S. Air Force 46th Test Wing.
The ATL's high-energy chemical laser was fired for the first time in ground tests as well.
