Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center Salutes the F-14 Tomcat on Sept. 30
F-14D(R) BuNo 159610 was one of the two Tomcats that shot down that downed a Libyan MiG-23 in 1989. The aircraft was saved from the SARDIP cutting torch at the last minute and now is on permanent display at National Air and Space Museum Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center.
