Fighter jet 'near miss' over Skye An RAF Tornado GR4A nearly hit a Cessna in June this year over Skye. The fighter came within 200m of the single engine aircraft.

The fighter crew spotted the plane but the pilot did not have sufficient time to take evasive action.
