V-22 FADEC fix follows uncommanded take-off
To prevent another engine surge on the Bell Boeing V-22 tiltrotor, Rolls-Royce is to modify the full-authority digital engine control (FADEC) software used.

The aim is to cut the time from automatic switching from a malfunctioning FADEC to its back-up to less than 1s.
