Jet fighter costs go skyward as price of rival nosedives
The Australians looked at the recent Pentagon 2005 December Selected Acquisition Reports and concluded that the F-22A Raptor is about the same price as the first batch of F-35 Joint Strike Fighters.

They took US$506.6 million and divided it by four (the number of additional Raptors that was ordered recently) and arrived at the figure of $US127 million for each F-22A.
