Japan, U.S. aim to set night exercise air base in FY09
Japan and the United States have agreed to relocate the site for U.S. carrier-based aircraft for night landing practice in 2009.
With carrier-based aircraft at Atsugi Naval Air Facility in Kanagawa Prefecture moving to Iwakuni Air Base, Washington wants a new location nearer to Iwakuni.
