Equipment cut to pay for V-22s
Critics say that money from the recent emergency appropriations to cover the war in Iraq and Afghanistan should not be used to fund 'toys' like the V-22.
The Senate Appropriations Committee gave $230 million in unrequested funds to buy three V-22 Ospreys recently.
