Czech fighters help Vietnamese plane in distress
Two Czech JAS-39 Gripens came to the aid of a Vietnamese Boeing 737 which lost contact with air traffic controllers over the Czech Republic.

The airliner was escorted from Pardubice, East Bohemia to Karlovy Vary, West Bohemia, where the Boeing established contact with German air controllers.
