US Air Force: New Tanker Costs Rise As Delays Drag On
The USAF said at a House Armed Services Committee hearing Tuesday that it costs $1.9 billion to $3.2 billion every year to replace its aging tanker fleet.
The Air Force thinks it can save about $6 billion by retiring some of its oldest models.
