QinetiQ announces first flight trial for Zephyr UAV
QinetiQ has completed the first flight trials of Zephyr HALE UAV at White Sands Missile Range, New Mexico.
The 27kg aircraft is solar-electric powered, autonomous and is designed to fly at altitudes in excess of 50,000 feet.
