NATO Hires Russian Venture to Fly Cargo in Soviet-Era Antonovs
The Strategic Airlift Interim Solution program which allows NATO access to two Antonov An-124 in Leipzig, Germany has come into force.
15 NATO countries signed a contract with Volga-Dnepr for two AN-124-100 aircraft on full-time charter, two more on six days notice and another two on nine days notice in January.
