Black Hawks down for maintenance
A shortage of pilots and a series of maintenance issues and other problems has hit the Australian Defence Force.

The navy's Super Seasprites' targeted flying hours has reduced from 1800 to 975 because of a lack of spare parts while the Seahawks' hours has been reduced from 4200 to 3300 due to the introduction of a new maintenance regime.

Over at the army, the ARH Tiger fleet faced a shortage of qualified flying instructors.
