Aviator recalls Iraqi sandstorm scare Hawaii Army National Guard Chief Warrant Officer Steve Froeschle recalls the crash of his CH-47 in Iraq Apr. 15, 2004.

The rescue by two USAF crews earned them the 2004 Air Force Clarence MacKay Trophy.
