Navy: Landing field opponents don't understand urgent need
The U.S. Navy argued in the 45-page brief filed late Wednesday with the 4th Circuit Court of Appeals in Richmond that the urgent need for pilots to safely practice aircraft carrier landings isn't understood by those fighting the construction of a training site in eastern North Carolina.
