Navy could need new jet base in a decade, admiral says
Adm. Robert Willard, the vice chief of U.S. naval operations, said that once the F-35 begins reaching the fleet around 2012, the Navy may need to develop a new "master jet base" to accommodate it and today's F/A-18.
