F/A-22 effective but needs work, Pentagon report says (Registration Requried)
David Duma, acting director of the Office of Operational Test and Evaluation, wrote to U.S. congressional defense committees that Lockheed Martin Corp.'s F/A-22 "is operationally effective and survivable," but its "reliability, diagnostics and maintenance procedures need to be improved."
