Ellsworth B-1 named after former senator�s WWII bomber
B-1B Lancer at Ellsworth Air Force Base has taken the name Dakota Queen Sixty years after Lt. George McGovern, a former U.S. Senator, gave it to a B-24 Liberator he flew in the Army Air Corps during World War II.
