BOEING CO.: 767 production tied to tanker contract (Registration Required)
The head of Boeing Co.'s defense business indicated to analysts Wednesday that the company can wait only about seven months to land a new contract supplying the Air Force with air refueling tankers based on the 767, before deciding whether to end production of the slow-selling commercial jet.
