Air Force Acquisition Chief Quits, Defends Tanker Plan
Marvin Sambur, the U.S. Air Force's top weapons buyer, submitted his resignation Wednesday while defending his efforts to overhaul Air Force acquisition policy and replace the Pentagon's aging fleet of tanker planes.
