Mi-38 helicopter to be delayed at least 2 years
Political pressure from the United States is causing a two-year delay of the Mi-38 medium-lift utility helicopter program.
This is because Washington is opposed to the license production of the Pratt & Whitney Canada PW127.
This forced Russian Helicopters to switch to the locally produced TV-7-117 engines.
