VFA-213 Blacklions show aircraft was officially delivered to day (27 Feb 2006) to NAS Oceana, VFA-106 will have temporary possession of the aircraft until the Blacklions stand up and become certified for flight as a F/A-18 Super Hornet Squadron.

As most of you will have noticed this aircraft has been repainted and it appearance has changed drastically from the original paint scheme seen here a few weeks ago. The changes in the paint scheme where requested by the squadron in order to have a show bird that was more consistent with their traditional paint schemes.
