F-35 test schedule faces reshuffle due to problems with F-35B
Stephen Trimble reports that the F-35 flight test schedule is facing another possible reshuffle as the STOVL struggles with reliability problems.
So far the B-model has struggled to keep up with the schedule and was able to complete 74 out of 95 scheduled flights by end of July.
Lockheed Martin CEO Robert Stevens said a “re-phasing of the STOVL flight test program” is needed “to recognize actual performance to date.”
