C-17 crashed at Elmendorf AFB
A USAF C-17 transport crashed after take-off at Elmendorf Air Force Base on Wednesday.
The aircraft went down at around 6:15 p.m. near runway 6 in the northeast quadrant of Elmendorf.
Four crew members on board were unlikely to survive the crash.
They were reported to be practicing for the Arctic Thunder air show this weekend.
