B-1B achieves first supersonic flight using synthetic fuel
The U.S. Air Force continues to push for the use of synthetic fuel by using a B-1B bomber with a 50/50 blend to achieve supersonic speed.
The Lancer from the 9th Bomb Squadron made the histroic flight on Mar. 19 in a flight over Texas and New Mexico.
