Luke AFB to deactivate squadron in planned base downsizing
The U.S. Air Force 63rd Fighter Squadron will be deactivated by early next year as part of a planned base downsizing.
The squadron's 25 F-16s are among the oldest still in service at Luke Air Force Base and will be retired to Davis-Monthan Air Force Base in Tucson.
